Terms of use
These terms cover both this website and the software published through it. They are written to be read, not to be survived. Where a specific app or game ships its own licence, that licence wins over anything here.
Website use
You are welcome to read, link to, and quote this site. Screenshots and short excerpts may be used in reviews, articles, and press coverage without asking, provided the source is named.
Do not scrape the site at a rate that degrades it for other people, and do not republish whole pages or the devlog archive as your own content. Automated access for training or resale is not permitted.
Software & catalog
Apps and games listed in the catalog are licensed, not sold. Buying a title grants a personal, non-exclusive right to install and use it on devices you control, under the store terms of whichever platform you bought it from.
Open-source releases are governed solely by the licence file shipped in their repository. Where that licence and this page disagree, the licence applies.
Reverse engineering for interoperability or security research is fine. Redistributing modified builds as if they were official releases is not.
Client work
Service engagements run on a written scope agreed before work starts. Ownership of delivered code transfers on final payment unless the agreement says otherwise; pre-existing tooling stays under its own licence.
Nothing on the services pages is an offer or a fixed quote. Pricing is agreed per project.
Liability
Software is provided as is. It is tested carefully and used in production, but no warranty is given that it is fit for any particular purpose or that it will run without interruption.
To the extent the law allows, liability for indirect or consequential loss — lost revenue, lost data, downtime — is excluded. Nothing here limits liability for death, personal injury, or fraud.
Changes
These terms change occasionally, usually when a new title or service is added. Material changes are noted in the devlog, and the date at the top of this page always reflects the current version.
